All UN/EDIFACT message sets are delivered within each supported version.
Document envelopes may be sent or received as either EDIFACT Syntax Version 3 or 4. APERAK and CONTRL messages are created with EDIFACT Syntax Version 3 or 4, depending on the options that are chosen during the acknowledgment service configuration.
