Data Types

iWay Application Adapter for SAP ERP (SAP JCo 3.x) supports SAP JCo data types including:

• Integer ABAP type I
• Floating Point ABAP type F
• Packed ABAP type P
• Character ABAP type C
• Date as YYMMDD ABAP type D
• Numeric character ABAP type N
• Time ABAP type T
• Hexadecimal (as Base64 encoded) ABAP type X

The following data types are not supported through the adapter:

• TYPE_BOX
• TYPE_DECF16
• TYPE_DECF34
• TYPE ABAP_OBJECT
• TYPE_GENERIC_BOX
